Dr. Roney trained at the University of Mississippi and completed his medical residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine.

Summary

Are you a current or ex-smoker and suffer from shortness of breath, mild coughing or become easily exhausted after walking? If have COPD or suffer from these symptoms this trial may fit for you.

Qualifications - Inclusions & Exclusions

  • Current or ex-smoker with a smoking history of more than 10-pack years.
  • No diagnosis of Asthma or significant cardiac disease.
  • No respiratory or COPD exacerbations within 6 weeks.
  • Not have any evidence or treatment of malignancy within the previous 5 years
  • Not have a history of alcohol or substance abuse within the previous 5 years
  • Not have used an investigational drug or participated in an investigational study within 30 days of screening
  • Not be pregnant
  • Not be breast-feeding

Compensation for Time and Travel

Study related care, including physical examinations, laboratory services and study medications are all provided. Participants will also be compensated for time. Contact us to learn details on the compensation and study details
